I use Pilates Anytime to get new and fresh ideas for group classes and private clients; they always know when I’ve spent time learning on the Pilates Anytime website. I find that my coworker and I come into the studio saying, “I watched a video on Pilates Anytime and I learned _____.” We then hop on the mat or piece of equipment to share what we learned.Do you have a motto?
I have a motto I use when teaching: “If it doesn’t feel good, don’t do it.” I tell this to my new clients all the time. However, I qualify it by saying there is a distinct difference between a hard exercise and one that your mind/body tells you just doesn’t feel right. If this occurs, I urge them to stop and take a little break and that I am glad to review modifications with them if necessary. The living person you most admire?
