What originally motivated you to try Pilates?
My Pilates journey has been an incredible experience. I moved to Colorado in 1997 and immediately jumped on the fitness bandwagon. I became a certified personal trainer and I also became addicted to tennis. After years of pounding on the tennis court and bounding in boot camps, I suffered a foot injury that required surgery. My tennis club has a beautiful Pilates studio, so I thought I'd give it a try while my foot recovered....I immediately embraced the practice and I am now a STOTT certified Pilates Instructor and I own my own business! My tennis game is also better than ever!

Your favorite Pilates exercise?

Your favorite website (other than Pilates Anytime)?
After Pilates Anytime, it is probably Facebook (so I can see what my college kids are up to).

Your favorite workout clothes?
My favorite workout clothes are from Lululemon. I gave up Lulu for Lent, if that's any indication.

The last thing you bought and loved?
A new pair of running tights from Lulu, the day after Easter Sunday!

Do you practice a particular style of Pilates?
I am a STOTT certified Pilates Instructor.

How do you use Pilates Anytime?
My clients range from NPC bikini competitors to the elderly suffering from osteoporosis. Each client brings a new challenge. I use your website to gather information and to add variety to my sessions, and I also work out with the videos.

Do you have a motto?
My motto is to treat every day as a gift, to be sincere, and to listen.

Describe your Pilates experience?
Pilates has helped me to focus, to connect, to prioritize, to find happiness, gratitude and abundance, and to have a blast doing Pilates!

An indulgence you would never forgo?
My love for fine wines, especially Chardonnay. My clients frequently visualize a chardonnay grape under their lumbar spine when finding neutral!

The last song you downloaded?
Time Is Love by Josh Turner.

The book on your bedside table?
Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand, an incredible survival story about pilots that were shot down and captured during WWII, which puts most of our daily struggles into perspective.

The living person you most admire?
My husband is the living person I most admire after over 25 years of marriage. Without a doubt, he taught me the powerful life lessons of strength and a positive attitude to carry you through.

What was your most memorable journey?
My most memorable journey has been my husband's battle with cancer. I will be running my first half marathon through the wine country of Virginia and he will be running the race with me, cancer free.
