Mat Workout - Kristi is always trying to remind us that the hip extensors (Hamstrings and glutes) are an important part of stabilization of the trunk. This class starts with standing work that emphasizes the gluts while incorporating some balance and stretch. As you move to the floor, plan on maintaining an awareness of your hip extensors while you enjoy (perhaps) some significant abdominal work. (Filmed April 06, 2010)
