Bobbee Kellner was born and raised in New York City. She received her undergraduate degree in education from The American University, in Washington D.C. For the next 5 years,
she lived in Washington, and then in New York teaching elementary school.
After her family moved to California, Bobbee decided to follow, and has been there ever since, first in Los Angeles, now in Santa Barbara. After arriving in Los Angeles she received a Masters Degree in Education from Cal State University Northridge, and continued to teach school for the next 15 years.
In 1991 Bobbee moved to Santa Barbara and attended Antioch University, where she received a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. She had a full time psychotherapy practice in Santa Barbara. In 2005 she decided to close her practice and reevaluate her life’s work.
For the next two years, after meeting a spiritual teacher and doing much soul searching, she found that indeed her work was with helping people find happiness. She is now leading several groups where she is teaching mindfulness, and greatly enjoying watching people find their bliss.
Bobbee has a 30 year old son and a fantastic husband.
