Eligibility for the Voting Round: How will you determine if a competitor is eligible for the voting round?

Once the judges have made their picks, we will contact each of the potential finalists by email and set up a time for a phone call. During the phone call, we will determine the competitor's experience and ensure that their application complies with the minimum requirements set out in the Official Rules. This phone call will also be an opportunity for the competitor to ask us questions. After the phone call, and with the approval of the competitor, we will follow up with the organization that was responsible for their training. This is the point in the process that we will be ensuring that the entrant has completed Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training which means over 450 hours of in-depth academic and practical studies on the full range of Pilates apparatus (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, & Barrel Repertoires) which provides the skills to teach students from beginner to advanced level on all standard pieces of Pilates equipment. Basically, we are looking for teachers who are PMA Certified or have the training and experience to be PMA Certified and have five years of teaching experience.
