Overweight clients

I am a new teacher and have a couple of clients who are quite overweight that are wanting to take my classes. I am thinking some one on one might be more appropriate for them, any suggestions on the correct approach?
Danielle ~ I think one on one would be better especially if they are new to Pilates. If you think they can handle being in a class, then you should let them take it. There are certain positions which might not be as comfortable for them (like lying flat on their back) so if you can add a wedge or do more sitting/standing exercises, I find it works better for them. I hope this helps.
Any other series or exercises on the reformer that you feel might help overweight clients?

I find that when I watch the body in front of me, it really provides me with the cues I need. Heavier people love to move and love to feel good in their movement. Focus on their current strengths and see how you can maximize that. A happy body is a strong body. Over time, with patience, the body will and does learn.
