Hi There- I have been doing pilates for awhile now, but have recently started a pilates teacher training program affiliated with a studio that is quite professional and classical, and more challenging than what I practiced in the past. When I teach, I'd like to be knowledgeable and creative, which means knowing what I'm working with- and I don't yet! We work with a lot of props- most of which I am not familiar with (What do they do? What are they for- flexibility, strength, balance? How does one use them? Do they work on a certain part of the body?). I don't see any tutorials on this (aside from the balls one, which was helpful). Can anyone refer me to a website/article/book etc that would help me to learn about this? Any other suggestions?
