Hip Replacement surgery and Pilates

Hi I have been a student of pilates for many years, advanced, but on Dec.16th I had a hip replaced. I am doing very well and I was wondering which classes would be the best for me? I do a lot on my own and have a magic circle I was a dancer for many years and hope to get back into it, I am over 55 too but I ain't stopping yet!! Thank you,
Michelle
I am in a similar situation, although I have yet to have the actual surgery. I have INCREDIBLY uneven strength in my legs, and find some postures (back platform!!) absolutely impossible. I am also looking for suggestions, since this is one of the only forms of exercise remaining to me, according to physical therapists.
Hi Michelle - I would suggest just easing back into a tower/cadillac workout. Try 30 minutes and then wait a day and see how the hip feels!:)
