I would appreciate your opinions on this prop. I see how it's a great tool for the mat but I feel using it in the reformer lessens core involvement. Leaning back onto if for example takes away the need for the core to assist when doing a Roll down into a c curve. I see it's benefits to support a pregnant client also. If you have any specific exercises you do use doing this on the reformer that would be great.
I really love it for the stomach massage series. It gives great tactile feedback for your powerhouse. I do round back with red and two yellows, straight back with red and blue and rotation with a little extra spinal extension over the barrel, with red and yellow or yellow and blue. I have used it for teaser and also for swimming on the reformer. And it's decent for side leg footwork while side lying.
