how to modify child's pose

Ash
Hi! One of my clients has osteoarthritis. She can not do child's pose as she is worried her knees will lock/stick. This has happened to her before and she has ended up in hospital. Is there another restful position she could use while the class do child's post that would not interfere too much with the flow. Thanks
Hi Aislingcom.....could she sit, knees slightly bent, feet on mat and simply round over her legs? Still the focus to be on relaxing her back, neck and shoulders but no pressure on knees this way. I've had clients to this and like the alternative. Or..if you have a physioball near her, have her round over that either sitting or lying on her belly on it (hands and feet touch the floor). Very relaxing. Let us know how this goes!
Lie supine and bring knees into chest.
