I have been doing pilates for the past 3 1/2 years, including private lessons throughout my recent pregnancy and postpartum period. Like many women, I have diastasis recti. My instructor has been wonderful, but I have been reluctant to try new exercises at home, in fear of worsening my condition. Would it be possible to label the postnatal videos as safe or unsafe for those of us with diastasis? Thank you!
Hi Rachel......have you taken a look and tried the many classes that Leah Stewart has up on the site? She has several for post natal and does indicate which are safe/un safe for diastasis. She is always eager to talk as well and I'm sure would welcome your questions. I'd try to connect with her!
