Question: on 5:30 among other places, when reaching arms over the head and "reaching", should my shoulders remain down or are they to ride up to give a longer reach?

It looks like Kathi's shoulders remain down when she is reaching longer, so she creating more length with the energy of the limbs rather than changing the position of her shoulder girdle. Maintaining this connection is important, especially as you a building your foundation, as it helps you find stability and strength in a functional position.
