@Debbie Kora, the toe taps simply get the tibialis anterior to fire to dorsiflex the foot/ankle which is the opposite of what a supinated foot does. Additionally, you might consider some soleus and gastrocnemius stretches as I am going to guess that your calves are probably restricted in length. Some isolated strengthening of your peroneals would help the overly lengthened lateral ankle joint musculature that comes with a supinated foot as well. Hope that helps....
