Brooke Siler began her Pilates training under Joseph Pilates’ protégée Romana Kryzanowska
in 1994 and spent a decade under Romana’s masterful tutelage, basking in her experience and wisdom.
She opened her award-winning NYC studio, re:AB Pilates, in 1997 and was quickly embraced by Hollywood’s A-list from Madonna to Dustin Hoffman.
Brooke is probably best known for penning the New York Times’ best-seller, The Pilates Body, which has become the highest-grossing Pilates book of all time. She followed it with titles: The Pilates Body Kit, Your Ultimate Pilates Body Challenge, and her first DVD, Pilates Weight Loss for Beginners.
In September of 2013, Rodale released Brooke’s most recent book, The Women’s Health Big Book of Pilates which has climbed to the top of the Amazon charts.
Brooke has been seen in hundreds of national and international publications from Vogue and Glamour to New York and People and was the first-ever recognized Pilates instructor chosen to grace the cover of Pilates Style magazine. In addition, she has appeared on multiple dozens of news and lifestyle programs from the Good Morning America to Entertainment Tonight.
Brooke has remained at the forefront of the Pilates community for nearly 20 years because she remains passionate and authentic in her work. She teaches recurrent workshops at prestigious institutions as well as international engagements and conferences for Pilates professionals.
Over the past few years, Brooke has refocused her energy on ‘paying it forward’ through her Pilates Teacher Training program, which has been labeled “The Gold Standard” by Time Out Magazine.
