Analía Alegre-Femenias Weber

About Analía

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by fostering in them a daily movement practice. As a dance and Pilates instructor, my purpose is to promote mind-body connections and awareness for each client to arrive to a life of balance and whole-body health. My clients notice how Pilates has elevated their strength, flexibility, and overall happiness. Movement is my passion, movement is healing, and movement never lies. I want each client to experience the joy in movement, the satisfaction of being challenged and the thrill of self discovery. Pilates is a life long journey where one can relish in the ongoing exploration of one’s full potential.

Becky Phares

About Becky

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by bringing Pilates into their everyday life. In my opinion Pilates is synonymous with correct body mechanics. In class we learn the most efficient way to hold our bodies in all planes. So when you sit at a desk, dance at the barre, run a marathon, or play with your kids you need to feel the same way you do on the Mat. A Pilates class is prep work for moving around in your everyday life.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by understanding that just like Pilates, our health goals are a process. In the Pilates process, the workout advances not by making it more complicated but by making it more efficient and fine-tuned. When it comes to cardio goals, just a ten minute walk is better than nothing, and then surprisingly twenty or thirty minutes doesn't seem so bad. As for nutrition choices, don’t think you should have enough willpower to never eat cake again. Enjoy every ounce of that piece of cake! It's not failure; and cake is a joy in life that no one should miss out on. I am truly honored that my clients trust me with their bodies and helping them to get closer to their fitness goals. Truthfully, they motivate me to live more healthy!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by presenting Joseph Pilates' philosophy, a comprehensive approach to life. Contrology goes far beyond just body movements. It is a way of life that leads us to body, mind, and spiritual wellness. I feel it through my personal experience. During my classes I am always dedicated to presenting Joseph Pilates' teachings. I want to impact my students and to have them improve their lives through Contrology. I consider myself more than just a Pilates instructor, but a messenger of his legacy, which I believe we should never let die.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by teaching the magic of movement and how it can transform our lives. I aim to educate and to inspire my clients, each and every class by encouraging proper form, function, and fun! We celebrate our successes and get excited about our areas of opportunity, because with opportunity there is growth. I believe fun frees up fluidity faster then rules do. As we move we smile, laugh, joke, and encourage. We support each other and help one another stay on track to achieve our goals through undeniable camaraderie. I have created a tribe dedicated to health, movement, and all things wellness. We, The Movement, believe that everything gets better when movement gets better.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by ensuring every session at Pilates 804 is a learning experience. The physical benefits of Pilates are secondary to the strength the mind gains over the body. We teach basic anatomy and kinesiology to every client so they can mentally connect to their physical demands, be it Pilates or mountain climbing. Our clients are taught that Pilates is the foundation and mode with which to master the control of the body in space. They then discover their individual power through a unity of mind, body, and spirit.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by teaching them that the key to wellness is understanding your individual needs rather than following a set of predetermined rules. Overall wellness comes from bridging the gap between fitness, nutrition, and personal growth and development.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by considering their time learning Pilates as an investment. The goal then is to be as present as possible during that investment so they can learn to incorporate their learning into their activities of daily living. I often use the quote, "We don't want you to come to the studio to get better at Pilates, we want you to come to the studio to get better at life." At Lead Pilates, our 'why' for existing is to "Educate, inspire and move." I focus on this everyday, with the goal being, clients who embrace the Pilates lifestyle loving the life they Lead!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by inspiring them to fully participate and immerse themselves in their Pilates experience. A quote I love from Benjamin Franklin is, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn." Encouraging clients to understand their own movement and abilities, and to acknowledge their temporary restrictions rather than simply performing the exercises as I teach allows them to deepen their personal understanding, and it keeps them striving to achieve their goals. It brings a sense of a fabulous journey which requires dedication but brings amazing results. Clients are also given short videos and audio recordings of exercises to do at home to further encourage self practice and independence.

Stephanie Ross-Russell

About Stephanie

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by stepping out of the 'doing' so that they can begin listening. I teach and show them that once they can listen to their own system, they can begin to sense and to feel what is occurring in the body. Only then can they respond to the feedback and organize themselves accordingly. This empowers them so they can take ownership of their own wellness. I do this by creating a supportive, safe, and inspiring environment where they can drop back into themselves.
