I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by I enjoy helping people. I’ve had the great opportunity to witness first hand the healing abilities of the Pilates Method and how it can change lives. I never thought I would be working in a rehab facility when I initially signed up for my Pilates training. Life happened and I married a physical therapist who also became interested in the Pilates Method for rehabbing his patients. We started studying Pilates together in 2002 and we haven’t looked back. I now get to work with various conditions and populations including: spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, back pain, MS, CP, professional athletes, to the common day laborer and desk worker. I’ve fell so much in love with the system I not only want to help my clients, but I want to help others do the same. So my husband and I have started our own Pilates Teacher Training Program, CORE Therapy and Pilates Teacher Training.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by I know every day will be different, and every day will be great!! My clients teach me so much each session. I am so fortunate to be where I am today doing what brings me bliss and being able to support others on their path of happiness and health! I am a certified Stott Pilates instructor teaching in beautiful Carlsbad, California. I am originally from Ontario, Canada, where I did much of my training. I aim to be passionate, supportive, and educational in all my sessions. I feel attention to detail, an encouraging approach, and a good laugh whenever possible will ensure my clients leave feeling rebalanced and rejuvenated after each session. I love creating unique exercise modifications, individualized for each person to promote greater ease of movement and healthy biomechanics so they can feel strong, and live life to the fullest outside of the studio!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by it is a form of movement training that helps everyone. After injuring myself in gymnastics, I used Pilates to rehab my spine and was able to return to acrobatics and dancing. I started using Pilates to condition other dancers and then moved on to others—people with neurological issues, injuries, Osteoporosis, other conditions, as well as the general public. More recently I trained in physiotherapy and as a labour doula and since created specialized Pilates classes for expectant moms and dads. Pilates allows me to help all kinds of people strengthen and support their bodies.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by it has allowed me to do what I love and love what I do. Pilates has changed my life personally and professionally. I have reached goals I thought were unattainable, including qualifying for the NYC marathon and carrying my triplet daughters for 34 weeks without bed rest. Pilates is contagious and I look for every opportunity to share my passion with others. Through Pilates I have been given the unique opportunity to inspire and build amazing relationships. It keeps me present and gives me a greater sense of self confidence. I am forever grateful. Thanks Joe!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by teaching allows me the chance to help create an environment for students where evolution is possible. I strive to create a setting of willingness, courage and curiosity for every student in hopes that they will build their awareness of the movement possibilities that they hold within their bodies. The greatest compliment to my teaching style is when I receive a report from the student about a discovery that they've made outside of the studio, using what they've learned inside of the studio. After all, Pilates is from the inside out!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by Pilates is a means to bring health and fulfillment. The body becomes strong and adaptable and the physiological functions improve. This strength of core and ease of body seems to seep through and profoundly alter the practitioner. Pain and struggle drop away and we are left with a strong connection to our deep selves. I am tremendously grateful to have the opportunity to guide people on this path and witness my clients grow more youthful, vibrant, and confident each year. As an active mother of 4, I truly believe that a supple spine is the fountain of youth.

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by there is nothing that gives me more happiness and fulfillment than helping others discover the strength, confidence and body awareness that is Pilates!!! I believe Pilates is a true art form that when done correctly teaches us how to connect the mind to the body taking our workouts to a much deeper level. Pilates changes people not only on the outside but most importantly on the inside. They stand tall and proud, happy and free of pain!!!!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by I've continually evolved and progressed over the years as originally I was trained in a more classical method, but I have been very passionate about developing my teaching skills. In 2003 I had a serious back injury and could not walk without pain for 9 months and afterwards I had to slowly re-hab and relearn how to move,so Pilates saved me! Afterwards I worked with a lot of therapeutic clients and had to establish safe and effective ways for clients with back problems and special issues to move better. In 2004 I discovered the rewards of teaching people to become instructors which added another dimension to my understanding and appreciation of Pilates. Currently I work in a gym with a lot of athletic and fit individuals which is exciting as I teach with a lot of creativity . I love the variety of the work and the relationships that you build with people. Every day I see people totally transform on many levels in the way they look, think, feel and move and so I am enabled them to become empowered. I also love the challenge of selling Pilates to a member and in converting their approach to exercise!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by Pilates is the reason who I am and what I am today. It is all about respecting your body thus learning to respect clients and the issues they bring to you with broken hearts. Just one correction achieved and it all falls into place – victory!!! You see it on their faces; you can feel it in your heart, “for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks”… on the other hand… one more squeeze will not hurt, too much!

I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their own wellness by it is my favorite hobby and I get to go to work everyday and feel inspired and motivated. People come to workout for an emotional or mental lift as well as for changing their bodies. When I help my clients feel better, I end up being a good mood too. I feel so lucky that I can keep my teaching fresh, whether I am helping someone release chronic pain or focusing on toning and sculpting. My job changes everyday, I know I will be doing this when I am 90.
