We are now accepting applications for the 2017 Next Pilates Anytime Teacher Competition. This video will explain the details of the competition and the prizes the winner will receive. If you are a comprehensively trained instructor with at least five years of experience, fill out your application to enter today.

Today's the launch for our annual polities anytime teacher competition where our judges and members will choose who will be the next Palladio's anytime teacher. This year our prize is a little different. In addition to the winner of the competition being flown from anywhere in the world to Santa Barbara, California where they'll film with us here. They will also receive apparel from Palladio's nerd to wear for a photo shoot at our beautiful studio. They will then travel to Palm Springs, California for the PMA conference where they will have an all access pass. This is a wonderful opportunity to network with your peers and you will be our guest at our annual party.

At the conference we have two main requirements to enter. First, you must have a minimum of five years teaching experience. Second, you must have completed a comprehensive teacher training program. Other than that, you just need to film a short video following our submission guidelines. We have another video with tips on how to film your video using a mobile device. This will be in the description. For those of you who do not have much experience with cameras for your submission video, we want you to teach one student the series of five on the mat.

This includes the single leg stretch, double leg stretch, single straight leg stretch, double straight leg stretch and crisscross. This year we are allowing modifications for the exercises if your client needs them. If you add a modification, you are required to explain why your client needed it and why you chose this modification. Please do not add variations just to show off. You will be judged on your knowledge and application on the [inaudible] method, so we want to see how you teach real people. You will also be judged on safety communication with your student and engagement with the viewer who we watching you at home. Your video must be between four and 10 minutes long.

Anything shorter or longer will not be accepted. The deadline to submit your applications is Sunday, July 30th, 2017 we encourage you to send in your submission early. We will email you to let you know your video has been approved. Once we review your submission, please be patient in waiting for this confirmation email as it takes us a while to go through each submission thoroughly. If your submission video meets all our requirements, it will then be screened by our distinguished panel of judges who represent a wide variety of [inaudible] styles. This year's judges are Brett Howard, Dana Santi, Karen Clippinger, Tracey mallet, and last year's winner, Carrie [inaudible].

The judges will select 10 finalists and then our is anytime members will be able to vote for the instructor that they want to see on the site next, the winner will be announced in September. What if your years of teaching pilates is greater than the years you've be comprehensively certified? I've been teaching for 5 years but only certified for 1 year.
