Grand Prize 2012

We hope that you will be excited about the Grand Prize. This is how we expect the week to go, but (our lawyer makes us say this) the Official Rules 2012 govern.

Fly to Los Angeles. Fly economy from the big airport nearest to your home to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). We hope that you will arrive on Monday November 5, 2012. Pilates Anytime will meet the winner at the airport.

Cost of the Flight. As part of the prize we will pay for the return flight up to a cost of fifteen hundred US dollars. We beleive that this budget will cover the cost of a flight in November 2012 from most places in the world to Los Angeles. If it turns out that it is more expensive then we would ask the winner to pay the difference. The winner is also responsible for paying the cost of travel to and from their local airport.

Drive to Santa Barbara. We will drive up to Santa Barbara and if the flight arrives late in the day we will have dinner in Los Angeles and if it arrives earlier in the day we will have dinner in Santa Barbara.

Hotel Accommodation in Santa Barbara Area. The Pilates Anytime studio is located in Santa Barbara area. We will book a local hotel for Monday and Tuesday night.

Pilates Anytime Video Shoot. On Tuesday morning Kristi will pick up the winner from the hotel and drive to the Pilates Anytime studio. The day will be spent filming classes and the Instructor Video. Prior to the trip Kristi will discuss the details of the day with the winner.

Travel to Las Vegas. On Wednesday morning the winner and Kristi will fly or drive from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas. The journey takes about six hours.

Pilates Method Alliance Meeting. As part of the prize the Pilates Method Alliance has donated a pass to the Pilates Method Alliance Meeting so that the winner can enjoy the conference. The conference schedule starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening and ends on Saturday evening.

Hotel Accommodation in Las Vegas.The conference is being held at the Bally's Las Vegas and a room will be provided for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Pilates Style Magazine Picture Shoot. Pilates Style Magazine will set up a studio at the conference and will schedule a photo shoot with the winner during the conference. The objective of the shoot is to produce a four-page exercise spread for inclusion in the January / February 2013 edition of the magazine. Pilates Style will be talking with the winner prior to the trip.

Pilates Anytime Party With The Stars. On Thursday night Pilates Anytime and Pilates Style will be hosting a party at the conference for our friends. The winner will be our guest of honor and will have the opportunity to meet many of the leaders of the Pilates community. You can check out last years Red Carpet Interviews and party pictures.

Return From Las Vegas. On Sunday morning you will fly back from Las Vegas and get home in time for work on Monday!
