About Lisa Hubbard

Lisa Clayton-Hubbard is the creator and founder of
Rhythm Pilates™ in Costa Mesa, CA and has over ten years of the Pilates Method teaching experience. Lisa is a faculty member and lecturer for world renowned
BASI Pilates®, where she travels globally teaching their Comprehensive Teacher Training Course and presenting their workshops.
Lisa has studied extensively with Master teacher
Rael Isacowitz, founder of
BASI Pilates®. Projects, which include her involvement are prominent featuring in ‘Pilates’, his internationally acclaimed textbook, including being the cover image. She has also been featured in many of his educational publications, including three DVD’s. Most recently, Lisa is the cover feature in Pilates Style Magazine for their September/October 2010 issue, presenting her Rhythm Pilates™ workout.
After graduating from Body Arts & Science International in 1999, her passion for health, fitness and body mind techniques has led her to pursue opportunities associated to Pilates, recently graduating from the
YogaWorks, 200-hour Teacher Training Program in 2009. She is currently completing the
GYROTONIC/ GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Foundation Teacher Training Course certification scheduled early 2011. Lisa currently teaches Pilates, Gyrotonic and Yoga in her private studio to a diverse clientele. Lisa’s classes focus on anatomy, alignment, proper technique and well-being. Her passion, commitment and dedication to excellence in teaching empower her to enhance her skills through continuing education of the body-mind-spirit techniques, daily training and a balanced lifestyle.
