About Amy Cady

Primary Teacher Training: Studio du Corp

PMA–certified, Amy Cady is the owner of ABC Pilates®, in Laguna Niguel, CA.
In addition to holding a MFA in dance from University of California, Irvine, Amy is a certified pre/postnatal Master Teacher for The Center for Women’s Fitness as well as Pink Ribbon certified. The mother of two is also a Balanced Body University Partner Faculty member and teaches BBU curriculum for the ABC Pilates® Teacher Training Program, which is included in the Pilates Method Alliance Registry of Schools. She has been a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher at various colleges in Southern California. As an instructor, educator and mentor, she is a leader in the Pilates industry.

Amy has over 12 years of teaching and lecturing at colleges, Pilates studios, and non-profit organizations around Southern California. She is also an Alumni Ambassador for Lululemon Athletica for her community involvement and commitment to health and fitness in Pilates. Her inspiration is drawn from various Pilates Master teachers and her continuing research in the field of heath and fitness. Her experience has given her an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to Pilates. Her commitment to Pilates and her community and years of experience, make her a beloved and sought-after instructor.

Currently, Amy has authored Pre-Natal Pilates on the Exo Chair and can be seen in the September 2011 issue of Pilates Style Magazine.
