Jillian Hardwick is a BA Dance-Science major from California State University Long Beach. In 2009, Hardwick fractured her back dancing and Pilates became her main form of rehabilitation. After seeing, first hand, the impact Pilates can have on the body, Hardwick went on to get her Pilates Certification through Body Arts and Science International with an additional specialization in dance. In March 2012 Hardwick bought HB Pilates and has since dedicated her life to sharing her passion and the life changing benefits of Pilates with others. Hardwick has over 20 years of dance experience and enjoys such activities as: cycling, running, Pilates, weight-training, snowboarding, and anything outdoors. In June 2013 Hardwick participated in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545 mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, in which she raised over $10,000 for the cause. Hardwick is a firm believer in paying it forward, and with the help of HB Pilates gives back to her community as often as she can.
