I am about to start with a client who just had knee replacement surgery a month ago. She has started PT and is doing partial wt. bearing exercises. Just got the ok from her surgeon to start Pilates. What exercises would be safe, effective and appropriate to start with her? Appreicate the support. Ellen Pilates by definition

"I have done Pilates before, but it has been many years since I took classes. I had a full knee replacement last year (2011) and I would like to get back in shape. I am overweight (278 lbs) and I also have lower back issues. With all of this going against me, what classes would you recommend I start with?"
