Hello, Does anyone have any suggestions for reformer or cadillac routines for a marathon runner? Specifically, any exercises that are good hamstring stretches?
Katie, look under classes listed speciality, there are a list of classes under the title stetching. You should find something there that suits you! There is even one in there in Spanish that just looks amazing! But unfortunately I dont speak spanish( maybe you do) but its still fun to watch. Maybe someday someone will repeat this class in English!! Hope this helps.
My chiropractor treats athletes (recreational & pro) and has said a couple times that runners are often imbalanced. Lots of leg strength, but sometimes weak core and littlevupper body strength. So along with stretches, foot exercises and hip and glute exercises, some upper body work might be effective. Rotation is very important for running too, and there are time of great Pilates exercises for that. My personal favourite is the Saw, but there are tons of others.
