Aloha, sorry, I do not know if someone already posted on this subject, I couldn't find anything here in the forums but, I have a studio right on the beach and my equipment is starting to rust pretty rapidly. I have two gratz reformers that are not even 8 months old and the springs are totally rusted, and also the spring bar with hooks, nuts and bolts. The aluminum frame isn't getting rust but is starting to get a weird bumpy texture. My cadillac and chair are both wooden frames, which helps, but the springs are getting rusty. Does anyone have experience with apparatus maintenance or recommendations to mitigate conditions caused by a damp, salty environment?
Arlene~ I do not have any specific advice but I know that BalancedBody has podcasts on maintaining their apparati that may help you. Here is the link to those podcasts. I hope that helps!
