Leg alignment Postural analysis

I am trying to find more information on leg alignment postural analysis. I see this thing that happens to me where my inner thigh down by the knee gets bulgy but not from fat. It seems there is a rotation at the hip or the knee but I have a hard time knowing if it is the IT band or just a weakness in the adductor/abductors or perhaps the medial hamstrings aren't engaging?. Is anyone familiar with this bulging down by the inner knee. How do I tell if the rotation comes from the hip or the knee?
