Hi, I would like to have your advice on what equipment to buy to install a little studio at home. I would like to teach pilates to max 3 people together and wanted you to help me... For example, is the Cadillac the best or the tower is enough? I thought of buying a reformer, combo chair and Cadillac... Is is Is iT too much, is the choice good?
Hi Laurence! A great opportunity for you...! I think your idea of one Reformer, one combo Chair and Cadillac is fantastic and if you have that in your budget to do, wonderful! The Cadillac or Tower question.....well, there is a slight price difference between the two, but the Cadillac does have so much more available as far as exercise choice and options. For folks with shoulder conditions, the Cadillac is such a good piece to work on. I would consider your demographic and clients......do they have difficulty getting down to the ground? If so, the Tower may not be the best choice, but rather the Cadillac. With these three pieces of equipment you have a very nice set up and can teach three clients at a time nicely. I would go with your initial choice! :)
Hi Amy, Thanks a lot for your feedback.... One more question! I am hesitating between the wooden reformer from Body Balanced or the Allegro 2 reformer from them. The seller tells me the Allegro2 is more convenient and easy to use. What do you think? Thanks in advance. Laurence
Hi......unfortunately I don't have any personal experience with the Allegro 2---have only observed someone working on it, but it looked great and yes indeed, lots of options with this Reformer. It did also look easy to use, easy to adjust foot bar, head rest, shoulder rests etc which give more exercise options. Let us know what you decide!
