Pilates stretch for the quadricep for someone with knee problems

The standing or side lying quad stretch is too hard for my student who has limited knee flexion. What other stretches would you recommend?

A half kneeling position (also known as 1/2 monkey in yoga), where one leg is kneeling on a padded surface and the other foot is on the floor at a 90 degree angle. Tucking the toe of the kneeling leg and shifting the hips forward will increase the quad stretch.

I have a clients with knee what are the most recomended exercises and what are not recomended at all.
