I am very flexible, and find myself stretching more into the exercises instead of using my core. Any ideas on how to work more from the core versus flexibility during Pilates?
Hi Cali.....are you referencing your connection to the Matwork, or equipment work? I'd say ... if it were equipment---- try some heavier springs! For Matwork..... you may just have to minimize range of motion and work to stabilize a little bit more, pull in to your center rather than gesture outward. All this said......it's hard to really know. Do you have a personal teacher helping you? This would be a great question for them!!
