Pilates is excellent for people with a mild to moderate scoliosis. I have been working with a client who has an S curve at the cervical and lumbar areas of her spine. She at first couldn't find the core support to work past her cervical curve. We've been using the resistance band, as well as strengthening surrounding muscles. She can do the Hundred better, and can roll like a ball with very little lower leg extension. Interesting and rewarding.
