I am a regular PIlates practitioner (reformer, tower, chair) in my early 50s (also have RA). Lately, I also keep pulling my right rhomboid and am wondering if anyone can suggest some strengthening exercises for this area to incorporate into my workouts. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
Hi Lori, Thanks for contacting us. I recommend the following exercises: swan, pulling straps/T pull (on mat or reformer), swimming, chest expansion and arm springs. You want the main focus to be on your shoulders plugging in and wrapping back. If the springs are too much then modify with hand weights. Also the standing arm series against a wall would be great for you. I hope this helps!
