Hip Flexors taking over

Hello, Would you mind giving me some pointers on what to work on, and most importantly which exercises to avoid (temporarily) in order to stop having my hip flexors take over? thank you kindly

I recommend scheduling several private sessions with your Pilates teacher, to best figure out what/why this is happening.

Depending on the exercise you can try a slight external rotation, diamond shape of the legs.  It is difficult for the hip flexors to take over if you are slightly externally rotated.  
Move U That's a good point, I might have to do that.... now I'm just making due by myself until things return to the pre-2020 normal.

Yes, external rotation helps for sure! I can continue working on that until I see an actual real life teacher. thank you!
