Hello, I have been working with a client with Parkinson's disease for about 8 months now. He has seen great improvements in his strength but has a long road ahead of him. I'm curious if anyone else has worked with Parkinson's clients and if you have any recommendations or tips that have worked well for you. Thanks in advance!
Hi Robin~ It's been a little while but I remember one of the things that helped with the bradykinesia was to have music playing. If there was some sort of evenly paced music playing he could execute movements more fully and with more flow and coordination.
