Reupholstering Older Reformers

I am hoping to reupholster my 20 year old Peak reformer. The company (Madd Dog) is unable to provide me with any information, resources, or materials to make the repair and has directed my inquiry to their sales department to purchase a new reformer. This is obviously wasteful and I am disappointed with Madd Dog and their products. Has anyone reupholstered older equipment? Where did you source the materials? Did you do it yourself or hire a professional? I live in Minneapolis, MN. Does anyone have a local recommendation?
