Clara Step Barrel Lite or regular?

Hi everyone, I'm undecided whether I should get the regular Clara step barrel or the lite version. While I do like the idea of it being lightweight (and saving money), I'm not sure if it would as durable as the regular one. I haven't been able to see one in person, as my studio has the regular wood ones only. I'll be using it mostly for home practice and for a training program in the next couple months. Has anyone had any experience with it? do you guys think the upgrade is worth it? I appreciate it, thanks Eugenio
