Not sure why the little eye is no longer showing but it really does help to know which classes I have watched so I can save time. Is this just my comp or everyones ?
I apologize for this. The view icon has been restored on the class listing page. However, it's slightly different. If you've viewed a class an eyeball icon will appear in the lower right of the thumbnail image. If you roll over the icon, you can see which day you viewed the video.
I am glad the eye is back…. however having to hover instead of a quick glance …. hmmmm …. The only reason I can see for the change is that it allows for more classes on a single page ….
The hover is just to see the exact date on which you watched the video. My thought was the important information was to know if you've watched this video or not. Is it important to you to see the date you watched something at a glance?
When we're trying to think about how people will use features on the site, we don't always think of everything, and are often surprised. I love to get information like this so I can understand better what people need.
Could you go into a little more detail about how seeing the dates at a glance is useful for you? Would it be even more useful to know how much time has passed instead of a date? For example, would you prefer it said "Yesterday" or "Two months ago" instead of "9/23/2014"?
Thanks again for this feedback. I really appreciate it.
I like the date (my preference)… my calendar icon on macbook has a date so if I glance at it I would know how long ago I did a specific class, what type of class it was, reformer, chair, mat, spine corrector. I like mixing this up and usually from a glance I can see props in the pix which helps also. When the latest vids are on display one has to pop into the class to see what if any props are listed. It would be really great if say box, circle, band or overball was in there too..lol.. but I see how it can be overwhelming to put all that in a small vid box. Y'all have a lot of information and if I want over ball reformer I can go into specifics in the drag down.
At a quick glance I can see date and if I have viewed, mostly I know when I need to go back to a class and finish but I like the resume feature a lot also for short periods of pausing and if has been more than a day or two I will restart and take from beginning to end. This was the first time I was not 100% thrilled with a change. Everything else has been Super Awesome.
