I read the FAR and video player options. I'm posting because no one seems to be having a problem regarding the streaming video. The last comment was 5 months ago. I am not able to play any video we there at home or work. No problem looking at YouTube videos on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. This is also the 2nd time I have this problem this year. I tried with Chrome and Firefox , changing the video from JS to the other, viceversa , etc. It doesn't matter . I also noticed that I can now longer select the quality of the video to the 404p which was great because I could the video from start to finish without interruption . It looks like this feature was removed just recently. Last time I was able to watch something was Friday 10/30 , give and take a few days. If you know how to solve this problem please let me know . Liliana ~ I'm sorry you are having problems with our video player. I recommend making sure you have installed all of the available updates for your browser. This should help the problem. You can also try the Full Site instead of the Mobile Site so you will be able to change to a lower video quality. There is a link at the bottom of the page for the Full Site. Just a few momentos ago I was able to watch class 225 for about 8 minutes on the full site. The browser has to be shut down. I can not get past those 8mns. Could you please provide what it is the list of the appropriate versions of the components needed? I went through these updates last year through Customer service . I did those updates, then PA worked fine . Like I said in my earlier posting I watched videos on Fri 10/30/15. Then I went out of town , didn't watch videos. And yesterday 11/10/15 the videos are not working . Your answer increases my frustration because it doesn't solve the problem. It doesn't look like you checked with your IT team to see if something changed on your end. On 10/30/15 I was able to change the quality of the streaming video to 404p which is the lesser quality but it worked beautifully . Now that option seems to be no longer available . Please investigate what's happening. Thank you
Liliana ~ Thank you for your forum post. I'm very sorry that it is still not working for you. We haven't changed anything on our end with regard to the video player. We switched to a new player months ago, but that wouldn't cause the issue now. Usually when there is sound but no video, it is an issue with the internet connection. Changing to a lower video quality would help with this problem. This is available on the Full Site on the JW Player. If you hover over the HD button, you will see all of the choices for video quality. Please email us if you continue to have trouble with our videos.
When I am using the Full Site like I was last night on the tablet, the option of selecting a lesser quality video is not available. This was available on 10/30/15. But, not last or today. Could you still provide a list of versions and components I need to have on the tablet? I would like to review them and ensure I have the right components. Thank you,
Gia, another update. I logged onto my laptop to view the same class 225. I am on Full Site, JW player option. On the bottom right of the video I see the option from HD to 404p. Just like on 10/30/15, while I was on the tablet. Then I went to my tablet: full site, JW player, same class 225. The HD to 404p option on the bottom right of the video, no longer available. This has changed. I would like to send you screen shots of both laptop and tablet. Please send me an email address to send you the screenshots. Something has changed for tablets and it is not making possible to see your videos. I cannot bring the laptop to the studio is too heavy. I purchased the tablet exclusively to watch your videos while at work. Thank you.
Furthermore, on the tablet while on Full Site with JW player, instead of the HD option available, I now see 'CC' and it gives the option of: OFF, English, Spanish.
I switched to another class 2045 and this video I don't see either the HD or CC options. Is it possible that some videos have different options? I am still on the tablet, full site, JW player option. Please do send the list of components. I will review my tablet. Thank you.
Liliana ~ I'm sorry you were still having trouble with our videos. There was a bug in the back end that was causing problems for some devices. We have fixed the issue and it should work without a problem now. I hope you enjoy our latest videos!
