Hi, The current fast forward option is good, and easy to pull along. It's down side for me is that you can't really tell where you are going as there is no visible timeline nor frames. ( sorry for my less than accurate terminology ) Would it be possible to have a ff that would allow for either, or one with Multi speed settings? I'm thinking of the native video players on iOS and OS X as examples. No disrespect to the current players or the work that goes into this site is intended. Cheers.
Dear in2insight ~ Like you I also like the type of video player that you propose. We have just worked through the process of updating our video player to best that we believe is currently available on the market. When we researched the choices our core objectives were that people could play the videos on a very wide variety of computers, tablets and phones with a very high level of reliability. The video player and video delivery technology is very rapidly evolving and we will stay current with the best available in the market. I hope that the next time we update the technology that we use for our videos that we will be able to include the feature you mentioned.
