progressions

would love a class and/or workshop geared specifically to teachers on progressions for all equipment (mat included)
Hi Mia.....can you elaborate just a little bit on this? Do you mean how to progress from Level 1 Reformer to Level 2 ... to Level 3 etc? Or what exercises can help progress from one level to another. I love your idea and this would be something I'd be very interested in doing as I think all teachers would/could gain confifidence in this arena.

Particularly ways to progress from one exercise to the more advanced exercises. I have seen so many great ideas on ways to prepare for exercises like teaser on the reformer, tendon stretch, long stretch, snake/twist, back bends, etc. I just would love to see it all in a workshop so it would help us (and refresh our memories) on ways to progress our clients into those advanced exercises—including the archival exercises. I know some of the progressions would be on the chair or Cadillac, but I also would like simple preps instructors have used (let’s say teaser on reformer) right on the piece of equipment the client happens to be using (and not jumping to the cadillac for teaser). I hope my message doesn’t sound like nonsense (ha!). Let me know if anything comes up! Thank you so much—love the site.
