Thank you sooo much for Pilates Anytime. I love it!!!! Reformer workouts anytime I want to workout. Wonderful.
The quick change on the spring weight seems to be the only thing I keep questioning during each workout. Is there a way to have a note or list of the spring colour or weight for each exercise? Like a recipe? I often don't catch the spring change till after the exercise if at all and just guess and carry on! Once again, thanks so much for this site. I recommend it almost every day to someone!!!! Vickie Argals
Hi Vickie, you bring up a good question and request. I know we teachers have been working hard to be very clear about what springs we're suggesting for our exercise selections. I am happy to communicate this request again to our team of teachers, but it could be a bit time intensive for us to make a note or list in our descriptions. I think the best will be for us to be even more clear about what we're selecting and possibly even repeating it verbally when we're filming our classes. Hope that helps in clarifying.
It would be great if the spring instructions were not colors (different reformer brands use different colors for different weights) but we're maybe something like light, medium, heavy. It's hard to translate what the colors mean mid-workout especially if you are doing the fast paced videos.
Amanda ~ Thank you for your feedback. Some instructors use the colors while others say how heavy it should be. It depends on their training and which brand they are using. We have a blog post that may help you so you know how the colors translate to other brands. I hope it helps!
