Any chance you might add a jump board workout in the future? Love the site...it makes it so easy to catch a class when I have time. Thanks Pilates Anytime!
Hi Diane...Amy Havens here, regular teacher in the site. I'm doing a jumpboard class tomorrow and it should go up on the site sometimes next week. It will be a 30 minute class. Let me know what you think!
Thanks Ted! I plan to do a few more jumpboard classes in the next month or so as well. I think there is a need for them and I really enjoy the jumpboard work, so...... we'll see more!
I have been enjoying the jumpboard work in my own Pilates practice. Really a great way to get the cardio going, and in my case, with my primary sport being beach volleyball, it's a great way to work on jumping.
Thank you Ted! From a male perspective, what do want to see more of, differently etc for the next jumpboard class? I'm always curious to hear what's on people's minds.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to actually take your class as I don't have access to a reformer. I have just been doing jump board when I go to the Pilates studio to train with my instructor.
However, my main goals are to increase my vertical leap (for Volleyball), cut down on body fat, and strengthen my abs and back (mostly to avoid injury and pain in back).
I see......well it sounds like your'e on the right track with the purpose of using the jumpbaord! As you know, it's great for all the reasons you listed! See you soon!
Can you add a jumpboard category? I did a reformer workout the other day & was pleasantly surprised to find it used the jumpboard. I would love a lot more of these.
