I would love to see some workouts for all levels combining the use of the reformer and tower combination. I have 3 at my studio and would like to make better use of them but would love some repetoire inspriation from other Pilates professionals. Thank you very much to everyone that makes Pilates anytime such a great resource as well as being the hub that brings the global Pilates community together. Hooray!
Thank you Shelia. We don't have an actual combo piece at the Studio, would it suffice if we used both a Reformer and Tower in one class? I can make the suggestion to the instructors.
Hi Kristi, Thank you for your response. Its unforuntate that you don't have a combo piece at the Studio. I am interested in repetoire that directly combines the use of the moving carriage of the reformer and the tower in all its glory. Pilates Anytime already has an amazing collection of great repetoire on the tower/caddi and the reformer repectively so although I am always interested in more great workouts on any of the equipment there appears to be a gap in the area of the Tower of Power repetorie evolution. I have found bits and bobs here and there - Elizabeth Larkim has done a few short videos as podcasts and there is a Korean Pilates Instructor that has done the same but barring that I havent been able to find much. Perhaps one of the Pilates Anytime members/instructor that uses the Tower of Power will come across this post and be inspired to share some of their repetoire creations! Hi Sheila I'm not trained by Stott but do remember doing a great workout with a Stott teacher trainer, Chrissy Connolly at Hedge End Stott Pilates Studio in Southampton UK, where she put together a programme on the Tower/Reformer using two sets of springs. Maybe someone Stott trained closer to home can help? Good luck!
