When can we enjoy one of James D'Silva's classes?? He's a super instructor and I missing his method in your page. He's amazing!!

Thank you Marta. We hear wonderful things about James D'Silva and Garuda. I'm sorry to say I missed my opportunity to meet him recently at the Pilates Method Alliance. Can you tell me why you think his method is a good fit for Pilates Anytime specifically? Thank you for this feedback!

Pilatesanytime, has the best Pilates Trainers, but many of them, are coming from the most classical Pilates schools. And I guess, users from PA( trainers from these schools all over the world) are willing to see different and serious approaches.
I'm a good example, after many years teaching classical Pilates( which is also a great workout) discovered James and though his courses in London, changed and widened my Pilates view.
Why is his work so special and amazing? Not just because of James background as a choreograph from Madonna. Though many years of own practice, he developed his own method, combining the spirituality, pranayama and asana practice of yoga, the core strength and focus of pilates and the balletic grace of dance.

He uses the whole body, changing the centre from movement to movement.As the movement is multidirectional, can radiate out from the spine and into the limbs and sequentially out from the extremities in towards the spine. Though rhythm and fluidity in his routines, use of spirals, combining strength,flexibility,endurance and dynamism, Garuda creates a sense of wellbeing and serenity in your own body. Is it dance? Not really. Is it Feldenkrais? Just a little bit. Is it Pilates? Yes and no...
You need to take a class with him and feel it in your own body.

Sí, una pena que un profesional como James con una forma tan novedosa, orgánica e integradora no esté presente en Pilates Anytime, poco a poco van apareciendo nuevos profesionales en vuestro canal, pero es incomprensible como uno de los grandes falte todavía.
Por lo menos, los que vivimos en Europa tenemos la suerte de poder asistir a sus cursos en Londres:) y disfrutar con él y todo su equipo:)

Marta, We appreciate your interest in having James D'Silva on the site and would be very interested to have him along with us. There are also other instructors not yet on Pilates Anytime that we would like to invite. We do our best to invite and share Pilates teaching along with other influences Aston Kinetics, Philip Beach's work, etc... and we also are limited to the number of days and teachers we can film in a given year. I hope that helps you understand a little bit more.
