Being a 30-year-old dealing with/healing osteoporosis I am looking for sources and training programs I can do at home; pilates mat + on equipment (I have a high chair/wunda chair, reformer, and spine corrector). I want to work out and feel stronger, more capable and rebuilding my bones without being placed in a box of baby boomers and the elder generation. It's enough that my grandmom at +80 has a greater T-score than I do (I currently have -3,8). I know that with the increasing amount of young people suffering/recovering from eating disorders or other compliances the rise in osteoporosis-diagnoses in this age group is going up as well.
No offense against the elder population at all (you all are the very reason I am living on this planet in the first place - without my granny no mom to me, you know .
Rather it is simply a question of me not wanting to feel older than I really am.

I have done all of the workouts that are currently available on PA (some several times), and while I do like them and, I do unfortunately find the majority targeted and talking to the elder population a bit too often.
I find myself feeling placed in that box during the videos which tend to make me feel less capable and I easily get bored during the workouts because the movement, pace, and tone of voice used in the videos is slower.
< div>Thus I would like to request more strengthening and a bit "harder" or more challenging workouts, using hand weights and fast-paced etc, please?
I am so grateful for all the work you do and the amazing teachers you bring on board. Being an instructor myself I learn so much and love that I can get my own training in where I feel like I am the client for once in a while
Interesting comment. I have just rejoined PA after a long break. I discovered a year ago that I am in the osteopenia range and have been learning what I can/can't do ever since. I have just reviewed all the OP videos and found some information that will help me. However, allthough I AM in the senior age range, prior to this "diagnosis" I had done pilates for many many years, including teacher-training at one point. So I also don't need programs that are for people who have done very little, if any, pilates previously.
