I've only watched a few reformer classes so far, but one thing that I noticed that would be very helpful is for the instructors to tell students the spring weight they should be using for the exercises. I realize that student will have different equipment, but if the instructor could say "3 springs - 1 heavy and 2 medium", etc. That would be very helpful to my home workouts.
Thank you Tiffany ~ many of our instructors do say springs and sometimes they don't. This is a good reminder for all to let you know what we're up to when we're teaching class. Thanks again.
Thank you for this suggestion. As a teacher I am able to figure out the spring settings, but am taking a class when I watch PA and would love just to hear the spring setting cue:)
Please, as a reminder to our cyber instructors.... Please mention reformer springs or note on your class description what springs you will be using. I realize spring resistance varies but us reformer addicts get in a rut at times & fail to challenge ourselves & hoping you can let us know what the class is using.... (e.g. I use a balanced body studio reformer - red, blue, green springs & I have no idea what it means when an instructor says she/he is using 3 springs). Please help us challenge ourselves - while also understanding how important form and technique are critical components. Thank you so much!!!! P.S. I am posting via iPhone please forgive/overlook typos!
