Designing a Pilates Studio

I have a wonderful space in NY and work out of my home. I'm in the process of trying to choose if I want to put FLOR carpet tiles down in the studio or leave it as a hardwood floor. Anyone with pros and cons on carpet in the studio??

I know that my instructor has hardwood because she likes to move her equipment around when she gives mat classes, and the equipment is easier to move on the hardwood floor. Also...sweat! If you are doing any mat classes...sweat...carpet...yuck! I vote for hardwood!

I agree, we have bamboo floors and love them!
Easy to clean, easy to move equipment around and beautiful.
