Scissors: mission impossible

Hi everybody, I am just hoping to get some ideas as to why the scissor exercise seems so impossible for me. There are two issues I am running into: as soon as I am supposed to tilt my pelvis forward I feel like I will fall forwards if that makes sense. There is just no way my pelvis can actually sit my hands comfortably. I also feel super uncomfortable pressure on my triceps so that makes it even harder to try and find a good position for my pelvis. Could this be an anatomical issues (short arms, long torso)? Is there a muscle that could be too weak here? I am just so curious what exactly is causing the struggle. Thanks for any help! :)
