At the end of the series you say to keep your feet wider than your hips. Why? I would think they should be under your hips...

Hi Jane Great question. I do that so I can set up for the weight distribution from one leg to other and have enough space to transfer the weight . When i keep it hip width it restricts lateral movement of the hip. Hope this helps
