Amy , I have an Exo chair. I also have a new client starting and he wants to try the chair. My question is hes pretty tall.. since I dont want his knees under his chin is it ok to sit him up on a box w/o compromising the work? I have a stott sitting box.. It wont cover the entire seat of the chair but might lift him up around 3 extra inches.
Hi Jaime, great idea, I say -- give it a try! A few years ago I was working with a fellow who was 6'8"!! What an experience that was I tell ya. We did chair work and what I chose to do was load the springs pretty heavy from the top (Balanced Body Chair---he had great strength and control) and we limited his range of motion. It worked well for us, but give the box a try. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks Amy. I think I'll teach this workout tomorrow. So many of my favorite stability chair exercises~with a few twists. Then I'll do it myself! Thanks for the inspiration! :)
Hi Amy! I keep coming back to this class again and again and again, and I just love it! I'm always challenged by it no matter how many times I do it. So fun to practice with Aliza, Lea, and Brittany. THANK YOU!
Hey Summer! So nice hearing from you here! You always warm me up with your feedback and comments, every time. I love that you've taken this class a few times (thank you) and I bet it is fun to take class with your former student peers eh?! See you soon!!
