Didn’t love this one. Found it a little frustrating / fussy. There were some new exercises with very subtle movements I didn’t quite understand because of the lack of cueing (ie the lunges on the box, some of the shoulder exercises) and also not a few instances where it wasn’t clear enough when to switch springs. I did learn some new exercises though!
Insane class. Thank you Ed. Learned a lot about my own body (even though I've been practicing pilates for 20 years!) Looking forward to teaching it to appropriate clients.
Agree with other comments - great class but cues for spring changes could be a bit more prominent. Side plank w/ box was a challenge (1 yr post shoulder replacement - so it was a good test to see how strong my shoulder is 0
This class is really rough. We don’t have to be nice about it (“it’s great, but…”) He never told us the springs until the exercise started - I was always behind. He would do adjustments and not say what he was doing so there were very little cues that were helpful. Plus, the class itself was so easy it was practically pointless. I was frustrated the whole time. I’m going to have to do a palette cleanser with Courtney or Tracey later today because this was not it.
