Hi Tiffany S, Without seeing you it is hard to know exactly what to suggest. There are many modifications that can be made for wrists/ thumbs. Additionally, many times thinking about shoulder stability will help the body "elevate" out of wrists. Perhaps practice the move on the mat to build strength. Remember to lift the back of the heart toward the ceiling. Make sure and minimize wrinkles in front of wrist(this may help if lacking flexibility). Try stretching wrists and thumb(might pave the way to more ease) . Hopefully this helps!!
